I’m currently making good progress. I’m working on releasing the free Lite version first.
I’ve now decided to include the encryption module in the Lite version. This will give people a chance to try out the public-key encryption before purchasing.
I’ve had to change the RSA encryption to 1024-bit, since 2048-bit is just too slow. I can see now why all the banks are still sticking with 1024-bit for their encryption.
✔ The API is complete and tested, including the encryption.
✔ The Admin interface needs only a little more work to finish it – it’s looking very good, even if I say so myself.
Still to be done:
▪ The client-side encryption DLL. The encryption itself is already working, but the DLL has to be written.
(It will be available in Win32, Win64, and probably Linux versions initially. A Mac version will be added later. Any volunteers to compile a Mac version?)
▪ The documentation. I will provide online documentation only, as that way it can easily be kept up to date.
Once the Lite version is running, the full version will not be a lot of work to create, as almost all the elements will already be in place.
